Degree/Certificate Requirements:

Associate in Science Degree

 A two-year program for students who are not only interested in a trade-level program, but also interested in fulfilling general education requirements to receive an Associate in Science Degree or fulfilling the transfer requirements to a four-year institution. To obtain an AS degree, 61 units are required. "Receive partial credit toward fulfillment of the requirements for the State of California Contractor’s License."

 Designed for the student interested in becoming a small business person, contractor, estimator, plan checker, etc. The State of California will accept completion of schooling on a year-for-year basis for a maximum of two years of credit toward fulfilling the state requirements for a contractor’s license.

Construction Technology Certificate Program

 Upon completion of 46 units of the program’s core courses, students can receive a Certificate of Achievement from Shasta College.

AGC Certificate Program

Shasta College is one of the two community colleges in the state with the Associated General Contractors of America. The following certificate programs are based on student competency achievements.

• Residential and Commercial Carpentry:

• Brick and Stone Masonry:
