The Shasta-Tehama-Trinity Joint Community College District
to Extended Education at Shasta College. The college continues to make
significant investments to improve the educational opportunities and services
to students throughout the 11,000 square mile region of the
Shasta-Tehama-Trinity Joint Community College District.
Extended Education at the college means providing access
to education beyond the traditional patterns of campus-based education and
programs. It does so by offering a variety of programs and courses held at each
of the three Extended Education campuses in Tehama, Trinity and Intermountain
as well as other sites throughout the District. It also means offering live
instruction as well as 2-way interactive television (ITV) instruction.
students are now able to complete their degree or certificate without commuting
to the main campus in Redding. Additionally, high school students can earn
credits toward high school completion through the Special Admission (concurrent
enrollment) procedures available at each campus.
