Learning a language is never easy! 

But you don't h​ave to learn all on your own.

When you need help or want to connect with other language learners go to the:

ESL and World Languages Desk, 700 Building (main floor):
Everyday from 8:00 am-6:00 pm you can ask a trained ESL tutor to help you understand your readings, as well as plan, edit, and revise your papers. Spanish and French tutoring is also available.
Language Lab, 700 Building Rm 782:
Monday- Thursday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM  Get help with learning English from a tutor or by using special software work on improving your pronunciation and intonation.  

Book Clubs (Call for time and place)
Tutors organize "book clubs" to practce reading, pronunciation, and comprehension as well as to expand vocabulary and make meaningful connections with language, culture and other students.

Conversation Cafe
Fridays from 10:00 am - 11:30 am in Room 210 of the Library - Practice speaking English. 
Fridays from 8:30 am - 10:00 am in Room 210 of the Library - Practice speaking Japanese.

Writing Center,  700 Building (main floor):
Everyday from 8:00 am - 7:00  pm you can get help with planning papers and understanding your reading. You can also get help with editing and revising your work and even print your drafts.
