Bryon Hamilton will be entering his first season as the Knight’s Head Track and Field Coach. Coach Hamilton brings 23 years of coaching experience at both the high school and collegiate levels to the Knight’s program. In addition to his track and field coaching duties, Coach Hamilton will enter his 9th season as the Knight’s Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach on Craig Thompson’s football staff.       

Hamilton is a 1987 graduate of Enterprise High School and a 1992 Graduate of Long Beach State University where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. He also played five years of NCAA Division I football.  He holds  a Master’s Degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University in Irvine, California, and a California State Teaching Credential from Simpson University  in Redding, California. Prior to his full-time position at Shasta, Hamilton spent 22 years as an educator at Foothill High School and is also employed by the national publisher of American Football Monthly. His monthly column with AFM, Coach to Coach appeared from 2010-2014. Hamilton currently resides in Redding with his wife, Amber, and their three children, Beau, Riley, and Presley.
