Shasta College requires parking permits in all parking lots. Fees collected are designated for the operation, maintenance, and control of existing parking lots as well as construction of new parking areas. If you have a parking question or questions about a citation please call 242-7915 or 242-7913. We ask that you do not use Blue Security phones for parking related issues.
All student and staff lots will be enforced during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. These lots are enforced Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A Fall or Spring semester parking permit can be purchased in the Shasta College Business Office or Admissions and Records for $30.00. During the Summer session a semester permit can be purchased for $15.00. A daily permit can be purchased for $1.00 from any yellow parking permit dispenser located in student parking lots. Starting in the Fall of 2015 the daily parking permit will increase to $2.00.
These permits are only valid in student parking and do not allow a vehicle to park in metered, carpool, staff, visitor, or dorm parking areas.
Dorm Residents who obtain a Dorm Parking permit from the Director of Residence Life may utilize this permit in any designated student parking area. The dorm permit is not valid in Carpool designated parking areas, unless a carpool permit has been obtained.
NOTE: STUDENT PARKING IS ENFORCED 14 (FOURTEEN) CALENDAR DAYS AFTER BEGININING FOR FALL AND SPRING SEMESTER. THE SUMMER SESSION IS ENFORCED 7 (SEVEN) CALENDAR DAYS AFTER THE SEMESTER BEGINS.
