All companies strive what what is called the 5 9's. That is 99.999% uptime. They strive for it because it is as close to impossible as you can get. A reboot of a server takes aproximatley 5 minutes. You just fell out of the 5 9's.
Administrative Computing Services works very hard to keep this page blank.

H and I drives were unaccessable. Problem reported at 1:20pm. The services were restored at 1:25pm.

Tehama Center and the Health Sciences Center reported network down at 1:45pm. The problem was the AT&T Optiman router rebooted. Services restored at 1:50pm.
Jan 14, 2009:
CalWorks reported the network was down. ACS recieved call at 7:58am. Issue was AT&T related. Services restored at 8:55am.
