I joined the Shasta College Foundation as a Regent in 2010, shortly after, I volunteered to assist with the website. That donation of my time and skills morphed into being lucky enough to be a permanent part of this benevolent team.  The Foundation believes in giving back to the Shasta, Tehama, and Trinity County community in addition to the students, faculty, and staff of Shasta College, and I'm proud to be a part of that.

I am currently for the Shasta County Sheriff's Office as a Project Integration Supervisor for Integrated Public Safety. Whether it is IT Project Management, Applications Specialist, or managing telecommunications, I've been working in some aspect of technology since 2008. Prior to that, I worked in the finance industry.

I was born in southern California but spent most of my life in Redding. I'm an avid DIYer, love gardening, and make a pretty good jam (so my boys tell me).  I am an outdoors woman, and find great joy in hiking, seeing new places, and being with my family. John Muir was speaking words from my heart when he said: "the mountains are calling, and I must go!"
