The background check and drug screening services for the Health Sciences programs are provided by an online service provider – Corporate Screening Services (CSS). You will need to pay for this service online with a credit card. If you cannot do this, please contact the Health Sciences Office for instructions.
The cost for the background check and drug screen is $99.00. You will pay this one time fee when you open your account with CSS. There will not be any additional charge by the local lab that has been contracted to provide the drug screen and report results to CSS.
The Drug Screen portion must be completed at the contracted lab closest to your residence. No other labs are permitted. This is a timed process so make sure when you initiate your criminal background check and schedule your drug screening online (with payment) that you will be able to actually get to the lab and complete the drug screening within 1 - 2 days.
Your criminal background check and drug screening must be done within 6 months of enrollment in your program. You will need to time the scheduling so that your completed report arrives to the Health Sciences office by the established deadline for clinical requirement clearance.
