403(b) and 457(b) Retirement Plans

Permanent Shasta College employees are eligible to participate in voluntary, employee-paid 403(b) and/or 457(b) retirement plans.  Please note part-time permanent employees who may not be covered under PERS or STRS may also participate in 403(b) plans.   For more information view the current flyer and website below.

Please note that SRA forms must be received by our payroll department at least two business days before the last working day of the month to be in effect for the end of the following month’s payroll.  For example, they must be received by October 30th to come out on November’s 30th paycheck.  403(b) and 457(b)’s plans are especially great voluntary benefits for employees because they are the only voluntary benefits that employees can sign up for throughout the year and outside of open enrollment.
