Office 365 for Education is a collection of services that allows you to collaborate and share your schoolwork. It is everything you love about Office, hosted by Microsoft in the cloud. It allows you to use Microsoft Office on mobile devices, PCs, and tablets, and allows for communication, collaboration, and sharing of information. 
It’s available for FREE to Shasta College faculty, staff and 
our students who are currently enrolled in sections.

Office 365 for Education includes Office Online (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote), OneDrive storage (Microsoft will provide 1 TB of OneDrive storage per user), Yammer, and SharePoint.  Please note that we do not provide email addresses for students via Office 365.

To access Office 365, please log into the Shasta College Portal:

 You will need the following information in order to log in to the Portal: 

  1. Your MyShasta UserName (e.g. j.smith19) -  if you do not know your username, go to the MyShasta main page​ and click the What's My UserID in the top right gray area of the screen.
  2. Your Last Name
  3. Your Student/Employee ID number - 7 digits (e.g. 0123419)  - how to look up your ID
  4. Either your 6 Digit Date of Birth - in this format MMDDYY (e.g.  010595)  or alternatively in this 8 digit format  MM/DD/YYYY (e.g.  01/05/1995)
