Assessment/Exam Prep

Respondus Logo Respondus is a tool that allows you to author, edit and import assessments. It also makes it easy to develop traditional printed tests.
Turnitin Logo Turnitin is program that identifies plagiarism in student work, and can both be used within the LMS and on the web.  The program checks for authenticity with an Originality Checking process that compares student work against internet and database sources.

StudyMate helps students "master the basics" of course material through learning activities, self-assessments, and games. A dozen activities – such as flash cards, crosswords and quizzes – engage students with course content in an individualized way.

Screencast-O-Matic Logo Screencast-O-Matic allows you to create screen capture videos and download them to your computer, then upload video and then upload it to YouTube.
Screenr Screenr is a free screencasting tool. Screencasts are also stored and can be uploaded to the web (YouTube).

Audacity Logo Audacity allows you to create and edit MP3, WAV or AIFF sound files.
