Open Educational Resources (OER)

OERs are freely available resources to support teaching and learning. They are usually either in the public domain or licensed under a creative commons. These resources may consist of full courses, textbooks, videos, software and other material. Below is a list of resources that we have selected for our local community. Feel free to share your favorite OERs with us.

College Open Textbooks This open textbook repository  was created specifically for community colleges. Content is available in a wide variety of subjects..

Open Course Resources:

Open Course Library
The Open Course Library is a repository of community college courses designed in collaboration with faculty, instructional designers, and librarians. Courses are reviewed by content experts before they are posted. The project shares syllabi, learning objectives, readings, course activities and more.
Open Courseware Consortium The consortium hosts a database of open course materials from hundreds of higher education institutions.
