COUNSELING

Shasta College EOPS offers its students frequent and intensive academic and career counseling over and above the counseling which is available to the general Shasta College student population.  Certificated counselors Dr. Keri Hom, Dr. Keith Brookshaw and Toby Bodeen make up the EOPS/CARE counseling staff. They are available for appointments at the main Shasta College campus in Redding.  To better serve students in the Tehama area, Rosie Gilbert-Ahrens is also available at the Tehama Campus.

Each counselor can assist students in creating and updating educational plans, monitoring academic progress, providing financial aid information, and assisting with transfers to four year universities.

EOPS/CARE counseling appointments can be scheduled in the EOPS/CARE office or by calling 242-7540 Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tehama Campus appointments can be made directly at the Tehama Campus 529-8980.
