SPRING 2016 STUDENT PROGRAM STATUS

Students with Overdue Lending Library Materials:
You status for Fall 2016 cannot be determined until after your materials are returned back to EOPS.  Once your materials are returned, it may take up to 3 business days to determine your status.
 

Students on Restriction Cannot Pick up EOPS Services Until AUGUST 15, 2016
(1st Day of FALL 2016 Semester)


Students entering EOPS begin in GOOD STANDING.  As an EOPS student, the requirements stated in your Mutual Responsibility Contract (MRC) determines future services.  Your status with EOPS for the current semester will depend on how you did the previous semester.  The four different program statuses (GOOD STANDING, PROBATION, RESTRICTION, and DISMISSAL) and the eligible EOPS services for each status are explained below. 
 
Due dates are listed in:
  1.  EOPS Student Planner/Handbook
  2. EOPS Important Dates Handout or webpage 
  3. EOPS ID Card/Book Voucher

 GOOD STANDING

  1.  You completed all THREE counseling contacts by the due dates the previous semester
  2. Your overall GPA is at 2.0 or higher from the previous semester
  3. You returned your Lending Library materials by the due date
   Eligible Services for current semester

PROBATION        

  1.  Your overall GPA is less than 2.0 from the previous semester  
  2. You completed only TWO EOPS counseling contacts the previous semester
  3. Your Lending Library materials from the previous semester were turned in late 
 Eligible Services for current semester

Ineligible Service for current semester 

Priority Registration

  

RESTRICTION  

  1. You completed ZERO or ONE EOPS counseling contact the previous semester
  2. You completed only two EOPS counseling contacts the previous two semesters
  3. You're overall GPA is less than 2.0 the previous semester and your current GPA is less than 2.0
  4. Your Lending Library materials were turned in late the previous two semesters
 Eligible Services for current semester 

Counseling and Transportation Services

 Ineligible Service for current semester 

Priority Registration, Book Voucher and Lending Library

 

DISMISSAL        

  1.  You did not fulfill your responsibilities two semesters in a row
  2. Your Lending Library materials were not turned in from the previous semester 
  3. Once dismissed from Shasta College EOPS, you are ineligible to participate in the future
