Award amount: Up to $200 depending on number of applications received. 

This grant provides a one-time semester grant to Shasta College students who report they experience food insecurity and meet eligibility criteria. 

In order to qualify, you must be enrolled in at least six units for Fall 2019, have completed the 2019-2020 FAFSA, have a zero EFC (expected family contribution), and have unmet need. 

To be eligible for this grant you may NOT be receiving grants or resources from other Shasta College student services programs such as EOPS, CARE, CalWORKs, SCI*FI, STEP-UP, etc. or Student loans.  

- Applications will be screened and processed for eligibility requirements and students will be awarded on a      first come, first served basis. 
- You may only be awarded once per semester. 
- If you are awarded, this grant will be added to your financial aid package and will appear on your financial      aid award letter. 
- This grant will be disbursed through your chosen financial aid disbursement method.
