Continuing and Returning Students

Should I complete a Shasta College Application for Admission?

  • If you have applied and taken at least one course at Shasta College, you do not need to submit a new application. You can update your information on My Shasta or at the Admissions and Records Office.

Continuing Students:

  • If you are attending the current semester, there are 2 ways you are notified of your registration date and time:
    • on your MyShasta account
    • via email from the Admissions and Records Office

  • On this date and time, through the first day of the semester, you may register and pay for classes on MyShasta.
    • Payment is due by midnight of the day that you register or you may* be dropped from one or more of your classes. If you are unable to pay enrollment fees in full, you may qualify to set up a payment plan.**
*This is not a guarantee. Please check with Admissions and Records or check "My Schedule" on your MyShasta account to confirm.

**Payment Plans can be created on My Shasta by clicking on "Nelnet Payment Plans" beneath the "financial information" heading. A $25 processing fee will be aplied, and a 50% down payment is required to establish a new payment plan. Students that have enough pending/awarded financial aid to cover their fees are not required to establish a payment plan.

Returning Students:

  • If you are not attending the current semester, you will need to contact  Admissions & Records for a registration date. Once you are given a date and time for registration, you may register and pay for classes on MyShasta.
    • Payment is due by midnight of the day that you register or you may* be dropped from one or more of your classes. If you are unable to pay enrollment fees in full, you may qualify to set up a payment plan.**
