The Shasta College Assessment Center is located in rooms 101 & 102 in the 100 building on the Shasta College main campus. The Assessment Center is open Monday through Friday and is closed major holidays and weekends.

In order to create an optimum testing environment, no walk-ins please.
Please wait at least 24 hours after receiving your Shasta College student ID number to schedule your assessment appointment online.
PARKING PERMITS - For TEAS and Pearson Vue only, parking permits are available upon request from the Assessment Office. For all other testing and assessments, daily permits are available at the yellow kiosks located in the student lots (cost $1.00).
STUDENTS - While we understand you may be just starting the college process, you must be the one to inquire about any appointment and college records. College students are included in the Federal Family Rights and Privacy Act. Only general information will be given over the phone to the student. For walk-in service student must provide picture ID and your Shasta College Student ID number.
All new students must complete the assessments to receive priority registration. Please CLICK HERE to view our Matriculation requirements and exemption explanation.
Basic skills assessments levels in English and math for entering students.
Assessment results will be immediately available.
English as a Second Language (ESL) student assessments.
Computer Literacy Graduation test. Purchase the registration code in the Shasta College Book store for $25.00.
TEAS testing for nursing students. Phone the Assessment Office for an appointment.
GED Testing. Contact pearsonvue.com or by phone 800-704-3613.
Proctor Testing. If you are not a current or former Shasta College student you must call the Assessment Center to schedule an appointment to proctor a test.
A $25 fee will be charged for all proctored exams (fee waived for CURRENT Shasta College students).
A Photo ID is required for all services! All students must bring a current and valid photo identification card. Examples of a valid ID: Driver's License, Federal/Military ID, Passport, personal ID card from the DMV, School or other Institution, or a Naturalization Card or a Certificate of Citizenship.
Please do not bring books, food, beverages, electronic devices (such as cell phones, tablets, headsets, radios, etc.) pets or children. Please make arrangements before your arrival.

At least 90% of all students will be satisfied with operations in the Assessment Center.
Student Support Learning Outcomes
At least 35% of students will prepare for the assessment test.
