The Student Employment Center is a great resource for the recruitment of Shasta College students and graduates as potential employees! Employers who use our free service include local and out-of-town businesses, homeowners and community members looking for students to help with domestic chores and projects, and campus staff and faculty employing student assistants.

When we receive a job order from an employer, we post the opening on our online job board, on campus bulletin boards, and in the student newspaper. We also contact individual students who may be interested, as well as faculty from related departments who will share the information with students in their classes.

PLEASE NOTE: Job openings placed on the website may be accessed by individuals other than Shasta College students and graduates. Employers wanting verification of student status may ask candidates to provide copies of their transcripts and/or current class enrollment verification from the Shasta College Admissions and Records Department. The Student Employment Center is a referral service only and Shasta College is not responsible for the conduct of individuals who respond to job opportunities listed through this office. We do not screen candidates for positions listed with the Student Employment Center, and the selection of employees is the sole responsibility of the business or domestic employer.
