CSU Important Dates

​1-31 ​CSU Applications for spring admissions open. Filing period August 1-31.
1-31​ ​Deadline to Submit CSU EOP applications for spring term.
​1-31 Check for Transfer Center workshops that can assist you with you spring admissions application.​
​The Transfer Center assistant and counselors can help you through you spring applications as well.
​​September ​​ ​
​​ ​After submitting your spring admissions applications, activate your portal for each school that you applied to.
​​​Keep track of each campuses deadlines, such as when to submit transcripts, test scores, your State of Intent to Register (SIR) and any deposits. *
​If you applied to a CSU EOP program for spring semester, check with each CSU campus to make sure you complete their remaining steps and meet all deadlines.*
Submit your Associate Degree for Transfer​ (ADT) verification form to the Shasta College Admissions and Records office if you are planning on transferring spring semester to a CSU with an ADT degree. NOTE: This verification form doubles as your application for a Shasta College associates degree.
​Check with the financial aid offices at the CSU campuses you applied to and the department for your major for scholarship opportunities and deadlines if you are a spring transfer.

​October​ ​
​1 ​CSU applications for fall admissions open. Filing period October 1-November 30.
​1​ ​Filing period starts for FAFSA or California Dream Act application. Recommended to file October 1- March 2nd to obtain federal and state aid for the next academic year.
​If you have a Cal Grant be sure to contact the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) each year after high school graduation to ensure your Cal Grant Remains with you.
​If you qualify for federal pell grant be sure to contact the Shasta College financial aid office each year to ensure you do not use all of your pell grant eligibility prior to transfer since there are limitations.
