What is the BOGFW?
The Board of Governors Fee Waiver (BOGFW) is available to California residents. The BOGFW will waive the per unit enrollment fee for eligible students. If you are awarded the BOG Fee Waiver you will still be responsible to pay the campus center, health fee and any material fees at the time of registration.
Was I approved for the BOGFW?
Once your application is approved the BOGFW will be posted to your student account, however it will not be posted ot your Financial Aid Award letter until your FAFSA processing is completed.  If you apply by mail or by using the electronic application you will receive an email notification regarding your eligibility.

NOTE: The BOGFW will be listed as "PENDING" in "My Shasta" under Financial Aid by Year. This is an internal code, the BOGFW IS ACTIVE and READY to waive the per unit enrollment fee.

If you qualify for the Bog Fee Waiver, you may also qualify for EOPS, an academic support program that offers services to help you succeed in college. Don’t wait - applications for Fall semester open April 1st!  Click Here for more information on the EOPS program.
