What is the BOGFW?
The Board of Governors Fee Waiver (BOGFW) is available to California residents. The BOGFW will waive the per unit enrollment fee for eligible students. The student is still responsible to pay the campus center, health fee and any material fees.
Was I approved for the BOGFW?
Once your application is approved the BOGFW will be posted to your Award Letter on your student  "My Shasta​" account through the Financial Aid Menu.
 Allow 2 full business days before checking your Award Letter.
What if I'm not eligible for the BOGFW using one of the methods below?
The electronic and paper BOGFW application considers household size and income and SSI /SSP or TANF /Calworks payments to determine eligibility. If you are not eligible, complete the 2014-15 FAFSA application​ to be considered for the BOGFW.
