To use the web site and pay by credit card:
A valid email address is required to complete this process
- Log onto to www.VerifyStudents.com
- Click on the Start Here button (next to "students’ only" section)
- Enter the code “SHASTABGADN” and click on the “GO” button.
- Complete the online application section in its entirety. Provide all requested information:
- Full Name
- Social Security Number
- Current and Former Addresses
- Date of Birth
- Have your credit card (Visa/Mastercard/American Express/Discover) information ready in order to process payment. You will be charged a total of $99.00 on your credit card to cover the cost of the background check and the cost of the drug screening.
- Click the "Submit" button at the end of the process and you will be taken to the drug screening self-scheduling tool. Follow the simple on-screen instructions to initiate the drug screening process. You will have 5 days (business days based on the time you initiate the scheduling) to complete your testing before the event expires.
- Once you have scheduled your drug screening event, you will be provided with an electronic receipt and confimration code. (Please be sure to save this receipt for your records).
- A completion of record search and drug screening results will be available online for the Health Sciences office within three to five business days after completion. These results are available online only to the designated personnel in the Health Sciences office in order to insure your confidentiality. DO NOT have the results faxed, emailed or present copies of your drug screening to anyone else at Shasta College.
** Please note that many county courts charge additional fees to search their records. You may be contacted by CSS for payment authorization should additional court fees apply to your background investigation**
