When I started as the Director of DSPS in June, 2007, I had no idea what a perfect fit this job and this department would be for me. I love the college environment, I love developing new programs, and I love helping people fulfill their goals and continue their personal and professional growth. My background is in clinical social work, and before coming to Shasta College I taught in the Psychology Department at Simpson University. We are constantly looking for better ways to support students with disabilities as they pursue higher education, and many times the best ideas and suggestions come directly from the students.
