Shasta Youth Symphony

The Shasta Youth Orchestra is now entering its ninth season under the direction of Dr. Richard Fiske. The Orchestra is a course offering of Shasta College, and affiliated with the Shasta Symphony Orchestra. Because of this affiliation, the Shasta Youth Orchestra is a college course for .5 units; as such, students not only gain the opportunity to perform in a quality orchestral setting, they also may earn college credit prior to graduating from high school.

Youth Symphony

We are always looking for new members; so, if you play a musical instrument well (especially a string instrument), read music, and live within driving distance of Redding, California, we'd love to hear from you. Contact Dr. Fiske at rfiske@shastacollege.edu
