Shasta College and University of California Master Gardeners

Purpose of  Master Gardeners:

The purpose of the group is to unite the Master Gardeners of Shasta College in a single self-governing body that will assist Shasta, Tehama and Trinity Counties in its basic mission of disseminating University of California research-based horticultural information to the general public.

Please note:  The Master Gardener Office is staffed by volunteers with limited hours, so if your call is not answered by a Master Gardener, please leave a message and a Master Gardener will call you back with an answer to your question .

 From May to November Master Gardener are availible to answer questions at the Certified Farmers Market by the Redding City Hall on Cypress Ave. from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. every Saturday.

Master Gardeners meet the second Thursday of each month (except for July, Aug. and Dec.)  at 6:30 in the Community Room at the Shasta College Health Science and University Center.
