Please note that there are simple things that can be done to reduce risk of contracting H1N1 and seasonal influenza such as:
- Washing hands frequently with soap and water and/or using alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes (cough or sneeze into an arm or shoulder or into a tissue).
- Avoid sharing personal items such as eating/drinking utensils, toothbrushes, and towels, especially with ill persons.
