Welcome to the Business, Technology, Family and Consumer Sciences Division. We provide an education in a wide variety of areas including Business, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Computing, Office Administration, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education, Education, Journalism, Legal Assisting, Nutrition, Family Studies, wine tasting, wine making, and more.
Additionally, we run a Restaurant called "The Bistro," a full-service preschool, and a Foster and Kinship Care Education program.
We are excited to have excellent instructors, many of whom have been recognized as being leaders in their field. We look forward to working with you to make your Shasta College experience worthwhile.
Need Help in Classes?
The Math Business Learning Center has moved to the new Learning Resource Center Building, Bldg. 700, and is located in Room 749. It is open Monday-Thursday 8AM-7PM, and Friday 8AM-5PM. Tutors are available to assist you with assignments and studying for any of the Division's course as well as resources (computers, printing for academic related material, books, videos and calculators).

August 27 - Last day to register/add a FT class and drop a FT class to receive a refund
August 30 - Census Day for FT classes
September 6 - Labor Day holiday
September 1 - Bistro starts serving lunches on Wednesdays and Thursdays
September 7 - Last day to drop a FT class without record
November 12 - Veteran's Day holiday
November 19 - Last day to withdraw from a FT class with a "W"
November 25 & 26 - Thanksgiving holiday
December 13 - Finals week
January 19 - Spring 2011 semester starts
