Degree/Certificate Requirements:

The Welding Technology Associate of Science (AS) degree is a two year course of study totaling 60 units.

The Welding Technology Welding Certificate is a one-year course of study totaling 34.5 units. The certificate program is a one-year fast track program.

  *The general education requirement includes English Composition. The Welding Technology student may choose one of the following to satisfy this requirement: ENGL 190 or BUAD 166 OR a combination of ENGL 191, ENGL 193 or ENGL 194 for a total of 4 units (2 courses).

In addition to the required major courses, six (6) units must be selected in consultation with a ????
