24-Hour Mental Health Phone Line Still Available

Shasta County residents can still receive crisis mental health and suicide prevention services, 24 hours a day, by calling 225-5252. “People who need this service will still receive the same professional, compassionate service that they are accustomed to receiving,” said Marie Osborne, Clinical Division Chief for Shasta County Mental Health. The service had been provided by Help Inc. until June 30. The line is now being answered by Shasta County Mental Health’s crisis staff.
