Center Services Available to Your Organization
The Nonprofit Resource Center at Shasta College provides services to all nonprofit & philanthropic organizations by providing information, education, and consulting services. The Center is a one-stop resource for board members, staff, and volunteers of nonprofit organizations.

Get the most out of the Center by attending the "Center Orientation"!

First time users/non-members are required to attend the Center Orientation prior to using the Center:
1) Register online for one of the Center Orientation classes
2) OR sign up as a member and receive a one-on-one orientation at time of sign up(during normal Center hours). 

As a member of the Center for Nonprofit Resources your organization has access to the Foundation Center Online resource during our regular office hours. In addition, your membership fee ensures this service continues. The Nonprofit Center is fully financially self supported.
Non-member hours - Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed for lunch 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please note: first time users/non-members are required to attend the Center Orientation prior to using the center.
Member hours - Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed for lunch 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., priority access, first-come first-serve basis. Saturday's(by appointment only) for Foundation Directory Online.

Fundraising and Grant Writing for Nonprofit Organizations, is a research guide maintained by Carolyn Salus-Singh, Reference and Instruction Librarian at the Shasta College Library. Many of these resources are available online, 24/7, to the Shasta College community.

As a member of this nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit agencies, the Center for Nonprofit Resources at Shasta College provides visitors with free public access to grantmaker directories, books on fundraising and nonprofit management, and the Foundation Center’s electronic databases, The Foundation Directory Online. The fully searchable databases include detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, as well as an extensive file of recent grants awarded by the nation’s top funders.
