Shasta College provides Health Insurance to all full time employees. We are self insured through the Shasta-Trinity Schools Insurance Group (STSIG), which also covers an additional 40 school districts in Northern California.
2010/2011 Wellness Incentives
- Complete the following by June 13, 2010 as part of Phase 1
- Attend an Open Enrollment meeting - Only available as a webinar at this time, please click on the link below for access to the webinar
- Take an On-Line Health Risk Assessment - beginning May 1st
- This will take 20-25 minutes to complete
- It is completely confidential - no personal information will be shared.

Complete the following by October 31, 2010 as part of Phase 2
- Complete Annual Physical sometime between October 2009 and October 2010
- Complete one JPA sponsored health seminar (some opportunities are listed below) OR two online health seminars at www.behappystaywell.com (access code: Shasta)
- Vascular Highway Seminar - Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. held at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.
- Vascular Highway Screening - Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $99
- Quit for Good- Smoking Cessation Class starting September 14, 2010. - PDF flyer
- Men's Health - Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Mercy Medical Center.
