Apply for a Library Card

Please choose an option below based on your status

Main campus students

Students attending classes at the main campus must apply in person for a library card. A quick stop at the Circulation Desk (located at the front of the Library) and soon you'll be ready to use your new card. The first one is FREE!  Replacements: $2.00

REMEMBER... Bring a picture ID (such as a driver's license or CA ID) or registration receipt. It's required!

Distance Education students

Complete the online library card application or fill out and turn in an application at the Tehama, Trinity, or Intermountain Center, or the HSUC. This service is only available to students who are only taking classes online or at one of Shasta College's satellite campuses.

Faculty and staff

On campus? Drop by the Library during our open hours and we'll get the process started.

Off campus? We are pleased to offer an online library card application option for faculty and staff who are teaching or working at one of our satellite campuses or providing Internet instruction.
