Shasta College’s Student Senate is once again sponsoring the “Giving Tree”. This annual event is geared towards helping our under privileged Shasta College students and their children have a happy holiday season. The sign ups for children are going on November 9th – 23rd. If you know of any students that have children and may need a helping hand with Christmas this year, please let them know about the Giving Tree sign ups in room 2308.
Student Senate could not make the Giving Tree possible without the help of Secret Santas. So if you would like to be a Secret Santa and sponsor one or more children from the Giving Tree you can come by the Dean of Students Office, room 2308 starting November 24th and select one or more children. Gifts are due by Friday, December 11th. This has always been a very successful event for Student Senate due in part to the very generous administration, faculty and staff at Shasta College.
