Shasta College Garden Market
The Community Teaching Garden is hosting its first Garden Market on campus starting this Thursday, August 25, 2011. They will be selling organic heirloom vegetables: tomatoes (different varieties), cucumbers (different varieties), egg plant (different varieties), an array of sweet peppers, and some squash. These vegetables will be freshly picked early on Thursday mornings--Super fresh!
The Sustainability Club will be assisting with this project. All proceeds will go back into the maintenance and support of the Teaching Garden, and to the Sustainability Club.
