The Writing Center Computer Lab

The Writing Center is equipped with 24 Dell computers, an HP LaserJet black and white printer, a color printer, and a scanner.

We offer the following software:
Microsoft Word 2003 and 2007
Excel
PowerPoint
Access
Publisher
Corel
Internet Explorer
Microsoft Works (v. 6.0)

We are a Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) center; therefore, we give priority to students writing papers.

Our Internet capabilities allow you to research academic topics, access online (Web CT) classes, and send/receive email.

We have writing tutors and Paraprofessionals available to help you with your questions and ready to assist you with MLA, Chicago Style, and APA formats as you write.

Our computers are available to anyone on a first-come, first-serve basis. No appointment is necessary.

You can also write, study, or enjoy your lunch on the Writing Center's balcony. Study groups are welcome to use the balcony for discussions and collaborations as well.
