Shasta College Horticulture Department Plant Sale is back this spring—starting April 7, 2023!

Shasta College Spring Plant Sale

REDDING, CA – The Shasta College Horticulture Department will hold their 52nd Annual Spring Plant Sale, Thursday, April 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Saturday, April 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Shasta College Farm area. The sale is planned and staffed by horticulture students. The California Native Plant Society (CNPS) will also be on site selling a wide selection of California Native plants to raise funds for local student scholarships and restoration.

All plants are grown on site by students and the proceeds from the sale supports the Shasta College Horticulture Program and student scholarships. Horticulture Students, Master Gardeners, and California Native plant experts will be on hand to answer garden and landscape questions. The sale will feature annual flowering plants, perennials, herbs, vegetable plants, berries, trees, shrubs, native plants, succulent and house plants. Plant varieties being sold are selected for their ability to survive and thrive in this area’s climate. All plants are grown using sustainable practices with many of the vegetable starts certified organic.

For those that are unable to attend in person, plants can be ordered online and picked up at the Shasta College Farm. Starting on April 11 plant orders can be placed below.
