Andrew Near

Andrew joined the marketing department at Shasta College in 2017. He had previously lived in Redding for 12+ years and attended Shasta College as a student, before transferring to Chico State where he graduated in 2016 with his Bachelor’s in Communication Design. Fresh out of school, his experience included an internship with Creative Media and Technology at Chico State, which he held for three semesters. His focus there was on print design for different department initiatives and events. He enjoys art, music, playing guitar, rock climbing and the outdoors.
