Shasta College is excited to announce auditions for the spring play, "The Skin of Our Teeth," by Thornton Wilder. This landmark American classic won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1943, and remains one of the great plays of the twentieth century. The playwright, Thornton Wilder, was a significant American dramatist also famous for his play "Our Town". This year also marks the 125th anniversary of Wilder’s birth. This comedy-drama remains a unique and wonderfully theatrical allegory of human life.

Auditions will be held December 5 and 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the Shasta College Theatre. Please attend one of those dates and prepare a one-minute monologue. All ages and talent levels are welcome, community members are also warmly encouraged to audition.

"The Skin of Our Teeth" is directed by Mathew McDonald and produced by Dr. Gregory Thorson, with set design by David Fraser, lighting design by Tim Dye, and costume design by Hillary Wilson-Fahey.
