1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Zoom Meeting
Hosted by Instructor Heather Wylie

Human societies have been dealing with plagues and pandemics since at least 541 A.D. People typically respond to any threat with a combination of avoidance and then explanation. In the case of invisible threats like plagues and pandemics, people commonly attributed them to supernatural events and processes. Join us to discuss how plagues have driven mass migrations, and sought to place blame on witches, vampires, and even rival groups.
