Veterans Services – Veterans Day 2022 Crossword Challenge

Veterans Services is creating something new this year for Veterans Day. We are providing a friendly challenge to see how much you know, or can find out, about Veterans and the military. The link provided below is our 2022 Veterans Day Crossword Challenge. We encourage you to reach out to each other and find the answers through conversation with those who have served or currently serving. Take this challenge as a way to learn from those who have lived the experience in serving our Nation through the Armed Services.

Deadlines and Challenge Logistics:

You have up until 5pm on Monday, November 14th to submit your answers to Veterans Services. The winner will be decided on the following: Submission date/time and the most correct answers. In the rare case of a tie, the winner will be decided through a process determined by Veterans Services. So, we recommend you submit it early for a greater chance to win. Students and staff are separate challenges, so there will be a student and a staff/department winner.

Students: The award is “To Be Determined”, and only one entry is allowed per person. Students must be actively enrolled in Shasta College Fall 2022, or Spring 2023, classes to win.

Staff/Departments: The staff winners will receive a nice medal to display in their office. Staff can submit one entry per person, or one entry per department. Please specify which you are submitting for when you send in your answers.
