The Shasta College Ag Leadership Club will be continuing their annual Christmas Tree Sale this coming Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Shasta College Farm Pavilion (11555 Old Oregon Trail, Redding). The varieties of trees available this year include Douglas Firs, Noble Firs, Grand Firs, Nordmann Firs, and Silver Tips. In the spirit of the season, anyone who brings in six (6) non-perishable canned food items on December 1-2 will receive $3.00 off the purchase price of any one tree. The canned food donations will benefit the Good News Rescue Mission. Veterans or their families with Military ID will also receive $5.00 off any one tree. Offers cannot be combined.

The Country Christmas Fair will also be kicking off this weekend December 1 and December 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and will feature draft horse hay rides, farm tours, a visit from Santa, a farm animal petting zoo (photo ops!), a boutique full of wonderful student-crafted gifts, and food. All proceeds benefit the Shasta College Ag Leadership Club and the continuation of agricultural programs and events at the college.
