In August of 2018, Shasta College partnered with the Institute for Higher Education Policy to implement a national initiative called Degrees When Due. Degrees When Due is a completion and equity initiative to help states and colleges increase degree attainment among the “some college, no degree” population.  Our campus Degrees When Due team is conducting degree evaluations on students that stopped out without a degree between Fall 2013 – Spring 2018, are in good academic standing, and have completed 45 or more units. Shasta College will soon begin issuing degrees for the students that have completed requirements, as well as reaching out to those students who are a few classes short. Please join us in congratulating the students that have earned a degree and also by welcoming others back to campus! If you are interested in learning more about Degrees When Due, feel free to reach out to the DWD Coordinator, Liz Kohn, at lkohn@shastacollege.edu.
