Subject: Shasta College: SPRING BREAK REMINDER

Good morning Shasta College students! 

We’re sending you this quick reminder as we begin the first day of our rescheduled Spring Break. 

• Spring Break starts today, Monday, March 23 and runs through Friday, March 27 for ALL students and campuses. 
• During this time you may still call our student information line at (530) 242-7500 for assistance. 
• All campuses remain closed to our students and the public. 

Classes will resume with all online instruction starting March 30. We are still monitoring the situation for a few lab courses that are not able to transition to on-line. Students in such courses will be directly communicated with prior to March 30 with directions specific to those courses. 

We appreciate that this has been an especially challenging time for everyone in our communities and we hope you can pause during this break to reconnect in safe and meaningful ways with family and friends. 

As you prepare to resume your studies online March 30 please know that we are making every effort to provide you with all of the tools and resources you’ll need to make that transition a successful one. Throughout the break, we’ll continue to post helpful tips about distance learning and links to resources through our social media sites. Our counselors and student success facilitators are also available to work through any questions you may have. 

We look forward to providing you the same exceptional level of education you’ve come to expect from Shasta College and helping many of you complete degrees and courses of study to be able to transfer and graduate this Spring.
