Ride RABA for Free Program

Hey Knights, welcome back to school! We wanted to remind you about our Ride RABA for Free program for the 2021-2022 academic year. Please pass on the following good news and details to all of your friends:

• To be eligible to ride RABA for free, students must show their current Shasta College Student ID card to the bus operator when boarding. The card must have a validation sticker from the current academic semester. 
• To purchase a student ID during online registration process, follow the steps on this page https://www.shastacollege.edu/student-resources/student-life/student-senate/student-id-card-representation-fee/ for contactless services. Or students can schedule an appointment to visit the Student Senate Office to take their photo, pay, and receive their ID. https://calendly.com/sc-studentlife/student-senate-id-card.
• Eligible students will have unlimited and unrestricted ridership on the regular fixed route systems and Demand Response regardless of fare zones. That is, students can ride RABA for free, including transfer from Shasta Lake City and south county routes; however, the Burney Express service is not part of this agreement.
