REDDING, CA  – “Harvest Fest,” The Shasta College Agriculture, Natural Resources, Horticulture and Equipment Operations annual fall showcase and fundraiser will be held at The Ross Ranch, 12033 Old Oregon Trail on Saturday, October 7, 2017. The event will kick off from Ross Ranch, adjacent to the Shasta College campus, with draft horse wagon tours starting at 4:00 p.m. The tours of the Shasta College Farm will feature student presentations about various projects and what the students have been learning on the farm this past year. The festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. under the big tent at The Ross Ranch with delicious locally grown food, Shasta College raised chicken and roasted pig, beer & wine, live dancing with music by “The Billies”, and silent and live auctions.

The proceeds from this unique and fun event will directly benefit Shasta College Agriculture and Natural Resources students by funding lab projects, farm dorms, logging sports and equipment and livestock improvements thus furthering student success.
