Shasta College Provides WiFi Access for Students Via Campus Parking Lot
To provide students with better access to online classes and resources, Shasta College is now offering free Wi-Fi in the Redding campus North parking lot and the Tehama, and Trinity Campus parking lots. Students may sign-up for 1 hour periods available from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday starting October 26, 2020. Students may sign-up for more than one appointment per day.

To book an appointment, students will use www.shastacollege.edu/reservewifi. Wi-Fi service will be limited to currently enrolled students and is for educational purposes only related to courses they are taking.
To ensure the safety of all participants, students will have to remain in their vehicles at all times, and they will not have access to any facilities, including restrooms while at the college. Use of the parking lot Wi-Fi will be by appointment only.
For students who don’t have a laptop computer available, the Shasta College library has Chromebooks available for check-out. Please visit the college website at https://www.shastacollege.edu/library/materials-request/ to request a laptop or call 530-690-5842 for additional information.
