RELEASE: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

REDDING, CA  –  Shasta College has temporarily suspended standard business operations at the Redding Main Campus, the Downtown Redding Campus, and the Trinity Campus through Friday, August 3, 2018. Our Tehama Campus and Burney Campus remain open and can help students register and enroll for classes and answer questions related to the Fall semester. The Shasta College Redding Main Campus continues to operate fully as an Evacuation Center in coordination with the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army for families and individuals displaced by the Carr fire. While the Redding Main Campus has reached capacity and cannot accept additional evacuees, current evacuees will continue to receive shelter, food, water, and medical services.  Shasta College will resume full standard business operations at the Redding Main Campus, Downtown Redding Campus, and the Trinity Campus as soon as possible. Please check our website for changes or updates. We continue to prepare to commence Fall classes on August 20, 2018.
