Job Description

Pathways to Hope for Children has two Road to Resilience (R2R) case management positions available that will focus on providing services to pregnant woman and/or up to six months postpartum with current or historical substance abuse issues.

Road to Resilience Parent Partner Positions Description Overview: This is a full-time staff position (40 hours weekly). Hours will vary but are typically Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Road to Resilience (R2R) Parent Partners serve pregnant women with a history of substance abuse issues and their families. R2R Parent Partner will engage clients and families through delivering culturally competent, trauma informed and evidenced based services utilizing the Strengthening Families Framework. Individuals with Triple-P Level 3 and Safe Care certification is a plus.

Pregnant and newly parenting women referred to the program may be facing challenges such as child abuse and neglect, family violence, have current or past drug and alcohol abuse and/or mental illness. The Parent Partner will help families learn how to seek out and receive appropriate community support services through intensive case management. Initial and ongoing training provided.

Minimum Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree or an AA/AS degree with two years’ experience with case management in a health or social service field, or four years experience with case management in a health or social service field. A very well qualified applicant will have both the educational and professional experience, along with some personal experience with the risk factors that Parent Partner clients are facing. Occasional evening and weekend work. Applicant must possess the ability to operate e- mail and word processing software. Bilingual (Spanish/ English) is desirable. Proof of reliable transportation and full coverage auto insurance are required. Mileage reimbursement provided at the current IRS rate. Must be willing to complete National Sex Offenders Public Website (NSOPW), FBI & DOJ Criminal Background Check, and in some case obtain necessary vaccines and drug screening to work closely with newborn babies and mothers in various clinics and hospitals.

Benefits: Salary range is $17.24 to $19.40 per hour and includes health insurance, dental, vision, retirement and up to 3% retirement match, and online medical appointments. Paid holidays, vacation and sick days are also included.
