Shady Oaks Montessori is a toddler and primary Montessori learning facility that has been in the Redding area for over 30 years. We are currently looking for one part-time position to join the staff to carry us through the rest of the school year. This position will begin the middle of January for 3 hours per days, 5 days per week (except for holidays and school closures) to give breaks to the staff during the late morning. Hours are from 9:30 to 12:30. Additional time to work would be to fill in as a substitute when teachers or assistants are taking a day off.
The second position will begin in August of 2022, for a full time teaching assistant to help manage the classroom. Hours begin at 7:30 and goes until 3:00 pm. The state of CA and the school would like for you to have 12 ECE credits or at least going to school with the intent of acquiring those class credits. Some assistance is available for taking the ECE courses while working.
