Purpose of Master Gardeners
The purpose of the group is to unite the Master Gardeners of Shasta College in a single self-governing body that will assist Shasta, Tehama and Trinity Counties in its basic mission of disseminating University of California research-based horticultural information to the general public.

Master Gardeners meet the second Thursday of each month (except for July, August, and December) at 6:30 in the Community Room at the Shasta College Health Science and University Center.
The Master Gardener Office is staffed by volunteers with limited hours, so if your call is not answered by a Master Gardener, please leave a message and a Master Gardener will call you back with an answer to your question .
From May to November Master Gardener are available to answer questions at the Certified Farmers Market by the Redding City Hall on Cypress Ave. from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm every Saturday.
